Does anyone know how to remove the pin and retaining ring from the distributor so the internal seal can be replaced. Texas honda was very helpful and also supplied a graphic pic of how to disassemble the dist. Im just not sure how to take the pin out. Thx

 

If i remember correctly the retaining ring has two lil holes to pinch together and the ring will be small enough for you to remove it?and about the pin,your talking about the pin thats on the distributor shaft rite? if thats the 1 then you will need a punch smaller than the pin,line the punch to the pin and gently hit the pin out with a soft face hammer.
I could be wrong on this?its been known to happen once or twice??
But im giving you the procedure from a 1984 van i used to own?
But 1st.get the ring off and you'll have room to get the pin off?
