I have been looking everywhere and I unfortunately don't have an owner's manual, but does my car take different oil for being a v6 or does the 5w-30 suffice? Also my car had its oil changed about 1,000 miles ago and it could already use another quart. Is that odd?

 

5W-30 is the recommended oil viscosity for your V6.

 

You might be able to go to Honda America and reg you car and then download the owners manual for it........the 5th gen v6 is an odd one....I'm going to "guess" the 5-30 is fine.

Check the PCV to be sure it is working properly.
