I have a 95 Honda Accord EX 2.2 Vtec. 4D
120000 miles

It sputters at low RPMs, while under load and backfires out the exhaust. Its fine at an idle. Cylinder number 3 seems to be misfiring.

I've replaced the plugs, wires, dist. cap, rotor, fuel pressure regulator, O2 sensor, and injectors.

The compression on all the cylinders was the same(cannot remember what it was exactly).

Anyone know what it is? have similar issues?

I don't know what the problem is.. but im having similar issues with mine.. just started and is getting worse by the day.. no CEL light.. if you hear anything let me know as Im kind of stumped

Sounds like its the same thing. One mechanic told me to adjust the valves so I am going to do that this weekend.

Have you tried the EGR valves?
