96 AC help?

Default 96 AC help?

I'm replacing the ac evaporator, is there anything else you have to replace when you do this. any help would be great.

New foam for the evaporator (if the new one didn't come with it). I would replace the o-rings on every connection throughout the system.

why are you replacing the evap?? are you getting a complete evap assembly??
if not ,, you should replace the exp valve ,,like PA said the insulators unless they are like new

I would consider replacing the dryer bottle (it may also be called an accumulator), it is a filter that absorbs moisture. I agree with the O rings but on a car that old I would be afraid of breaking lines.

well I'm taking automotive HVAC class right now, and thats were I found the leak at. The teacher said just to trying changing all the o rings inside the evap and the lines going to it, so far its holding a charge and cooling the car, so hopefully thats all that was wrong.
