Default 96 Accord LX Tail Lights Not Turning Off

And now for my latest problem....

My neighbor just knocked on my door and told me that my tail lights are on. Sure enough they are. What would cause this? How do I fix? I need a quick fix or I will have a dead battery in the morning.

Thanks in advance.

Found problem. Now I just need to figure out a solution. The little rubber nipple on the brake pedal broke off. This is what pushes the switch in to turn off the "brake" lights. I originally thought it was the tail lights because the third brake light wasn't lit (total other problem). Anyways, anyone know of a solution?

Well, if you just lost the little rubber bumper (#20) they're probably about $2 even at the dealer. Just get a new one & pop it on.

Now if the metal tab (part of the pedal itself) broke, then you gotta get that replaced or make up something to clamp on so it presses the switch.

Inflation- they are now going for around 3~4 at the dealership (46505-SA5-000)....and one more note....they are not blue anymore. The last one I got (just last week for the 88, that is all the 3rd gens, 95 is next) are white??? More of a follow up.
