Default 96 accord sputter

hey guys im having a problem! So my car sputters for about 2 miles after i start it up. When it sputters i cant accelerate no matter if i down shift or up shift. After the 2 miles of sputtering it runs fine until the next time i start it. I changed my O2 sensors. Could it be the fuel filter or anything along those lines? After its done sputter it seems as if my gas gauge goes down and I seem to not be getting the MPG i should be. any suggestions? please help it driving me nuts!

Are plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor in good condition? If not, this is always a good place to start. Check wires at night w/ water spray on wires and looking for sparks jumping to ground. Any sparks indicates bad spark plug wires.

Suggest also checking intake air temperature sensor and engine coolant temperature sensor. Incorrect information to ECU would cause poor engine performance cold that might clear when engine warms.

Download a 94-97 Accord manual from Online Manuals links in DIY forum for checking sensors.

What about difficult starting?

good luck

One more question, during this time the CEL does not or has not come on....are there any stored codes?
