On my 96 accord Lights went out on guages but it goes out when I turn on the head lights check fuels but they were good help plz

 

I'm not going to move this to general tech as there isn't enough info to help.

My suggestion to you. Make a new post in General Tech (Ang, please don't move this ). In that new post tell us what led up to this (I just did X, or one day out of the blue). Also THE MOST IMPORTANT part...at least tell us what year your car is.

 

No it was working and one night I drove it and it didn't come on and sorry about not giving to much detail its a 96 accord

 

Ok, since you updated the post with the year....I moved it - something about a pot and kettle comes to mind

Anyway, are the other lights working (running lights in the rear, corner lamps on the from)?

Do you have a volt meter or test light to do some other testing if needed?

 

Yes all the other lights work and yes I do have a volt meter

 

Pull the dash dimmer switch.

Verify that the black wire has continuity to ground.

With the headlights on, the RED/BLK wire should have 12v.

If the above two test out, connect the RED wire to ground - what do the dash lights do?

 

The dash lights they come on too

 

Now I'm confused......your last post "the dash lights they come on too" has me at a loss.

Did they come on when you did the last step on the dimmer or have they been on since the begining?

 

No I said my gages don't come on but everything comes on

 

For most of this post I've been trying to firgure out what exactly the issue was.....sorry just me but the posts have not been clear until the last one.

So are you saying that the tach, speedo, temp and fuel gauge do not work?
