HI Im new here and I have a 96 Accord 2.7 V6. Ive been having trouble finding aftermarket parts for the V6 model, it seems like everything is for the 4cyl models. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find more V6 parts.

yes there is not much aftermarket parts out there for the V6. and i dont know of any either. good luck.

 

Ive found body kits and stuff like that but I cant seem to find any exhaust systems or turbo kits.

 

yeah they really arent out there, anything you get will have to be custom

 

X2 .... since the 5th gen V6 didn't make much more power than the 4 cyl, it wasn't considered a desirable aftermarket, hence no parts for you.

 

I still think the 95-97 V6 hp was underrated. The money pit is quite peppy (although now I have to use the Garmin to see my speed.) But I agree. There is little to 0 aftermarket for the C27. One suggestion:The 1988-1990Acura Legends had the same V6(C27) You may want to try to find parts for the Acura Legend V6 (Just make sure they are for the 2.7 liter) and theyshould fit since it is the same engine. here's the Wikipedia article on the C27: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_C_engine#C27A

 

under rated? i say its over rated. the v6 version is .1 faster in the 1/4 than the ex according exoticcarsite.

With this being known I have no idea why anyone ever bought one.

 

Hehe...don't judge it till you've driven one. I would put money on it that my 95 V6 would beat my 2000 4cyl ina drag race any day of the week. And I don't mean barely beat it either. When you press that pedal to the floor, that V6 will move.
