Default 97 accord shakes in cold weather

HI guys !! new here and owning a Honda Accord , I have a 97 accord 210k miles auto vtec 2.2l , I notice when is cold the idle is rough or shakes but in hot weather is not as rough it does at idle in gear but if I shift to neutral its smooth, also when I turn on the ac the rpms drop very low probably in to 500 or less , also when I shift in to any gear the tranny shifts hard and when driving it shift somewhat hard never smooth , the tranny was replace and I guess it came from Japan , any suggestions will be very appreciated :-)

Thank you

The IACV can get dirty over time, you could pull it and give it a good cleaning.

For the trans, I'd check the throttle control cable - this cable runs from the throttle body to the trans - for proper adjustment/play. This is assuming that there is not an issue with any of the mounts (engine/trans).

My '97 275,000 on chassis, on 2nd engine, I've owned for last 90,000 miles.
Tranny always shifts hard from one gear to next. Try to get used to it.

Being a 3-pedal guy, this is not from personal experience... But I recall some people saying that using non-Honda ATF can cause harsh shifting. Maybe a couple drain/fill cycles with Honda fluid??
(Don't use that as an excuse to ignore checking the cable that Poorman said)

Also the rear engine mount (down low between the trans & firewall) is vacuum-operated. It has a solenoid valve & some vacuum tubing - check that stuff for anything broken, disconnected, leaking, or ???
