On my 98 Accord, my keyless remote always gets a delayed reaction from the car when I try to lock/unlock. Fresh batteries doesn't make a difference. I press the lock/unlock button, the red light on the remote goes on but the car doesn't do anything. I have to hit the buttons several times. And then only after a second or two does the car respond.

My wife's remote has similar behavior but just not to the extreme that mine does.

Any ideas? Do I have to reprogram the remotes?
