Default 98 Honda Accord 0420

Accord is blowing out 0420 code, so I'm going ahead and replacing the CAT. I've found a few on EBAY reasonable priced. Is replacing it as easy as removing the bolts and re-installing the new?

Thanks,

Does the one you bought look the same as the one underneath? Some replacements need to have hangers welded on some have them already them. In terms of getting the old one off its just bolted but if its the original the bolts will be rusted pretty good and most likely will snap when you try and loosen them. Id suggest taking a look at the bolts and figure out where you will get the replacement bolts before you start to loosen them. Also the o2 sensor is on the catalytic converter often they are hard to get out and you need a special tool that autoparts stores rent. There are gaskets on each end of the catalytic converter as well they will need to be replaced as well. Good luck!
