My transmission has been dragging a little between 2nd and 3rd so I took it to a Honda shop where they told me I needed a new transmission. Took it to a few other places and they told me I needed a new torque converter. The cars been running fine but it does have almost 200,000 miles on it. Would a torque converter get the job done or just go ahead w the new tranny?

 

your TQ converter won’t do anything for you if your trans is just worn out. How does your A/T fluid look? Have you done a drain and fill lately??...I wouldn’t replace the trans until it really is becoming a prob. But that’s just me...
