Post 99 accord driver's side door and rear passengers door wont lock

I looked at some of the other post but I want to be specific to my case. I bought a Honda accord 99. The drivers side passenger door lock use to stick but stopped and then the door locks were mysteriously opened when I let the car sit over night. Now the drivers door and rear passenger locks wont move. I took it to the dealership they are saying it might be the acuator. They want to charge me $ 350.00 for everything. Is it the acuator? I know its not the fuse to the power locks. What is it?

This section is for questions about how the website operates. I'll move your question to General Tech where it belongs.

Is it Accord EX or LX? I think EX has more multiplexer-control over stuff like that. LX has more conventional wiring.

Thanx for replying so fast I am new to the site. It is a EX. And when the driver side door is unlocked the remote opens two doors the passenger front and the driver rear passenger. If all the doors are locked the remote opens nothing.

It probably is the actuator.

My problem was similar to yours. I replaced my actuator on the front passenger door. The part was ~$80. Installation wasn't too bad. There just wasn't a lot of room inside the door to install.

So I should get an acuator for both the drivers side door and the rear passenger. Is it called the acuator.or acuator motor?

It is called the actuator assembly or just the actuator. They are ~$30 each at site that sell OEM parts online. Probably $40 each at the dealership.
