Default 99 Accord seems to be starving for fuel

Hello all. I have a 99 Accord LX Couple 4cyl w/ 140K miles.
The other day it stumbled and bucked from a stop light.
As soon as I get rolling in 1st gear it bucks, get the rpm's up and it's ok, shift into 2nd it bucks, get the r's up its ok. etc.
today it starts and stumbles at idle. I try to drive it and it dies.
tonight i tried to troubleshoot it. I can hear the pump runnign when the ignition is turned on. I pull the feed line from the pump and fuel seems to be pumping fine when the key is turned on and while cranking but it will not start. makes me think its a clogged fuel filter or pump going bad, but everytime I check, there is fuel pumping.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

..you can have fuel pumping but it might not be sufficient volume .chk fuel pressure ,hook up a fuel pressure gauge ......How long has this issue been happening ?? when was last time you filled gas tank??
you can remove the fuel pump and visually chk the filter ( pick up screen ) at the bottom of fuel pump,

It started this past Friday. I havent filled the tank in quite some time.
I will check the filter first.
I have also heard of the main fuel pump/injection relay under the dash going bad causing this problem.
Can anyone verify this?

Thanks

Doesn't sound like main relay because then the pump wouldn't run. And the engine wouldn't start at all.
