99 accord i4 vtech, had a tranny put in and clutch, replaced temp sensor (not the one by thermostat) replaced coolent sending unit, replaced thermostat, performed coolant flush and bleed the system several times , replaced cap and rotor, cleaned iacv , and cleaned the throttle body. When starting cold the temp gauge reads fine let it idle to warm up to proper temp its fine. when i drive it for couple miles temp gauge goes up almost to hot. While in motion it will read high but when i start to slow down the temp gauge goes back down to normal about half way. Do i have a bad temp sensor or what i don't have a scanner that i can read data-stream of off does someone have any suggestions or know what to do?

does the fan operate?

I know you said that you bleeded the system to get the air out, may still be some air left? I say this because on my other car, (Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 TD) it can be a nightmare to get all air out, and if not properly out, can lead to several other problems. Just an idea.

the fan does kick on but it takes a while, if i turn the ac on both the fans work so i doubt its anything to do with the fans... ill try to bleed the system again but its just weird that it would go down when I'm coming to a stop the temp doesn't change that fast....

Be sure that the heater control valve is open when bleeding the system....
