Default 99 v6 Coupe change cabin filter diagram anyone?

Hiya

I would like to change my cabin filter (believe theres 2 of them side by side). I've seen some 'how to's' on the www, but nothing which shows a decent illustration.

Does anyone have anything like that on here?

Thanks

Google vMRvqYsI2k4.

The video shows the steps to change the filter for the 98-02. The 03+ accords are much easier to change.

I think that the air filter has an arrow to point with the direction of air flow. The arrow should be pointing towards the left if you were sitting in the passenger's seat.

The pain is removing the glovebox. If I remember, it's real tough to get your fingers in to unplug the wire for the glovebox lamp before it rips out of the socket. Then there's a steel bracket going across that forces you to remove some other panel.

Eventually, you'll get to see the black plastic housing for the AC unit, like this picture. Imagine standing near the left-front tire & looking at it from that direction. #6 is a cover that snaps off, then the filter (#21,22) slides out.

Thanks for the advice chaps.

Mine is a RHD, and the centre console is slightly different. The video is VERY helpful, although I'm not sure whether I'll be doing this in less than 10 minutes!!!!!

I didn't notice you're from London. Your Swindon-built car is not even the same car as a USA Accord. But it's probably similar...

The parts images for the UK Accord looks similar, with some things switched around.

I actually believe all 98-02 Coupe's were built in the USA?? Even those with RHD? Swindon only built the saloon? The interior is slightly different, but majority of panels are the same.

Have filters on order, gonna have a crack at the weekend.

Yeah, I think you're right. I wasn't paying attention to the title where you said it was a coupe.
