2001 Honda Accord side mirror? Can you change the Stanford manual mirror to an electric one and if so how can I do this? I bought a used car and found out after the fact that they are manual and I hate them because I have shoulder issues.

 

If the wiring harness has the power window connectors, then it won't be terribly difficult. You'd need the power mirrors and the power window switch along with maybe the plastic bezel around the power window switch to fit the power mirror switch.

To see if your accord has the existing harness, remove the plastic triangle cover on the front door and look for a harness with a 3-wire connector. You might have to remove the door panel as well. There should also be another connector by the power window switch. There are good youtube videos on youtube showing how to remove the door panel. It will show how to remove that triangle piece as well.

If your accord doesn't have the power window harness, then you'll wire the power mirros. Definitely doable, but would require more planning and work.
