Default ac help!

Just retro fitted, and charged my ac with two cans of 134... Lot colder now, compressor is working, but not cold enough, need more refrigerant... However, my driver side cooling fan will not come on at all.... Can anyone tell me how to test my driver side fan? Thanks!

Unplug Thermo Switch, located where the thermostat is at where the lower radiator hose goes to the intake.

Short the wires out with a paperclip

Both fans should come on

Either fan motor is bad or fan relay is bad.

good luck

I swapped relays and nothing... Gonna wire fan direct to battery and see if that turns it on before I eBay a new one. Thanks guys

also check to make sure the plug is tight going to the fan.

Mine was not in all the way and vibrated off once.

So.. my ac clutch is engaged.. but I can't really hear the compressor or clutch even making a noise... I now have the fans working, but even before with just one fan, it still barely makes a noise at all.. I'm pretty sure the compressor should be making a good amount of noise, and also be putting a good 200-300 rpm draw on the engine.... I may have a 100 rpm draw, bit that's it.. car runs fine with ac on or off, hardly noticeable when on.. yet its blowing cold.. does this sound right?
