Hello!
I own my 1998 Honda Accord it has about 198,000 miles on it and I love this car. Recently though it has been having some acceleration problems, it mostly occurs when I am going uphill. When I start out to get up the mountain I have to drive everyday I can start at full speed no problem, but once I get to about mid hill my speed will drop from about 75 to 60 and my foot will be down all the way on the gas pedal but it doesn't seem to speed up. This same thing also occurs if I am using my Air Conditioner, any suggestions at what to look at or fix would be great I am starting to do the maintenance on my own with this car.

Hello and welcome to the forum, a little more information on this could help us help you. When was the last time it was tuned up? And a fuel filter change? Is it a stick or auto? Bone stock or does it have some modifications?

 

Also if check engine light is on, have codes read and post them (Pnnnn).
