I am looking to replace the front bumper for my '01 Accord Sedan (white) and am based in gainesville, va.

Appreciate any thoughts and suggestions. Dealers are asking for approx $500.

 

Wow they are expensive for the newer ones, I paid like $150 for a new one from the dealer for my 1991. You might try a salvageyard, but it will cost more to get it painted as they will have to do more prep work. I actually found a hood for another car that was the same color, you couldn't tell it was ever replaced.....maybe you could get that lucky.

Also, I just checked alldiscountparts.com (I have ordered a ton from them, great site) They list the bumper cover for your car at MSRP 238.62, and will sell it for $178.96. They will charge more than their standard for shipping such a big piece. I don't know what all you need but maybe this will help. I have 2 local dealers, one seems to charge exactly MSRP and the other jacks up the price somewhat.

 

Well bless those dealers for wanting so much from there customers..how about new bumper cover, primed, plus the New front bumper reinforcement for about $180.00 plus shipping
