Default accord coupe 2005, 99000mile

I just had the oil changed for the car and I didn't know what kind of oil was used before and i just put regular oil in. IT SEEMS THAT THE CAR ACCELERATES HARDER AND WHEN ACCELERATE FROM 0 TO 30 MILES, THE RPM'S ARE HIGH THEN EVERYTHING IT'S NORMAL...I WONDER CAN WRONG ENGINE OIL CAN MAKE MY CAR SLOW AND GIVE IT A LOT OF TROUBLE ACCELERATING FROM STOP OR MAYBE IT'S A PROBLEM WITH THE GEAR BOX ??

What weight oil did you use? if you used a heaver weight oil it could crank slower in the cold. At 99,000 the clearance for the rods and mains bearing are mostly likely looser than new anyway. I don’t think you have a problem from the oil change until you went with something really thick like 50W .
