Default Accord MPG Vs Civic MPG

Why does the Civic give better MPG then the Accord?

The difference seems to be huge.

Less weight and smaller engine, plus a bunch of other factors.

I don't think too many Civics get much better mileage than my 2000 LX's 35mpg on the highway doing 70-75 MPH

No. As I stated, my Accord gets 35 mpg on the highway. You already had this question answered on this thread: https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/m_1..._1/key_/tm.htm
