That was my selling point, the CAMRY is much much quieter on the Freeway and the Audio system is far advanced than the Accord. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Accord as well and it's has been a reliable car with great resale however, it does not have the eminities that the CAMRY does. I want you all to know that I am a 25 year NISSAN Maxima owner who has just been priced out of the market with the Maxima and I will not sacrafice my dignity by stepping down in class to the Altima which, is at the same price levels as the Accord and the CAMRY similiarly equipped.....
I'm not sure what Camry compares to my EXL but when I was looking I found a Camry for 3,600 more than my car it was obviously more loaded (I have the EXL but do not have the navigation.) Generally speaking (obviously not ALWAYS across the country) you can do better in a Honda than a side by side Toyota, price wise that is. I also just handed back a 2007 leased Maxima...it would smoke both the Camry and Accord in performance and giddee-up... I'm not rich but could buy a Maxima if I wanted and I decided to get an Accord and am glad I did...

Pricing is going do be different for each area and with each dealer. I have to respectfully disagree that the Honda premium audio system is any less "Advanced" than the Camry system. Maybe in some rag reporter's review but IMHO, coming from my wife's 2008 Armada they are both equally subpar to the Nissan's audio, but still good enough to consider "premium".

The Camry in my area was priced higher and the local dealer wasn't budging anywhere near invoice with the claim that Toyota is offering 0 percent forever. Didn't wait around long enough to tell him I wasn't financing. Even the Accord was priced differently between dealers in our area. None of it matters, the way things go for me, the wife will get tired of this car in two years and hopefully we will be right back in the latest release of that gas guzzling, Nissan Armada. It will take that long for her to admit she was wrong in going backwards. Maybe by then, the Accord will grow on me enough to keep it too and I will stop daily driving my pickup.

Still think that the road noise in the V-6 is really low, at least I wasn't getting the feeling that the Camry or VW was any better. Hardly noticeable to me or the ultra-picky wife.

i have a 2010 accord crosstour ex and the road noise is almost 0 i drive it 30 miles to work back and forth on the garden state parkway where if you have ever been to NJ the speeds are usually about 80mph and its great. I cant compare to the toyota because as soon as i saw the venza i walked away but im sure its does just as well.

Just bought an '08 EX L. The road noise is more than I had anticipated. I heard it on the test drive but chalked it up to the tires. We will see when they get replaced soon. Any ideas on replacements?

You did well are you sure the two vehicles are "apples for apples?" In my search the dealer owns both Toyoya and Honda side by side (Boch in Mass.) They could not touch a loaded Camry compared to the Accord. I would of been looking at around 1,800 more for the Toyota, If memory serves me correctly. The cars are different but still both their high-end models.

Update: I replaced the Michelins with Bridgestones and the noise is still the same. This is my wife's car so I do not drive it that often but I am disappointed that Honda could designate a car "Luxury" and have that much cabin noise. It really hits its stride at about 70 mph.

I see it this way. The Camry is made for people who want to "ride" in a car. The Accord is made for people who like to "drive" a car. The Accord has more feel for the road, and road noise is part of it. I deal with the road noise because it's more fun to drive, than just ride.

I have bad road noise on my 2010 EXL 6 cylinder at interstate speeds. I thought it could be tires but seems a common problem with Accords. In Accura better?
