Default Adding a kill switch

What is the easiest way to add a hidden kill switch to a 94 Accord? My last one got stolen and wrecked and I just picked up another one today and want to avoid that from happening again. I have read that under the back seat, there are the wires for the fuel pump and I can splice in a switch on the positive side. What color would be the positive wire? I have a dizzy cut off in my truck, but not sure how to do that, it came that way. I would prefer the dizzy cut off, so the car won't start at all.

Thanks,

The best kill will be the main relay kill. It kills the fuel pump and a couple of other things. Google and you will see a couple of write-ups on how-to.

Yea, many people add the kill switch to the ground wire for the main relay. A few use magnetic switches. One guy suggest hiding the magnetic switch under the carpet. A separate magnet with velcro is then used to contact the switch hidden under the carpet to start the car.

The BLK/YEL fuel pump power wire runs underneath the passenger sill plate. Pop off the plate and you'll see it. Radio Shack makes a nice DC-rated switch:

Catalog #: 275-730
Rated 25 amps at 12VDC

Thank you for the replies. I am thinking of doing the relay cutoff. So to be sure, I add the kill switch to the ground wire?

You can add the kill switch at the main relay ground wire or from Roader's method to the fuel pump Blk/Yel power wire.

"The problem with a fuel pump kill switch is that it's very easy to bypass and run battery power directly to the fuel pump. It's easy to determine when the fuel pump isn't powered up because with the engine off you can actually hear it."

The main relay kills: "Fuel Injectors, the Fuel Pump, the O2 sensor, the Alternator, and the Vehicle Speed Sensor."

Thanks for that link djkurious. I was reading it, and one thing that I didn't understand is why would I need to add a relay to the kill switch if the extension wires are longer then 5 feet?

That is a good question I don't have an answer for...

It would carry enough current that you'd only need the fatter wires to the relay, then use thinner wires out to the switch (wherever you want to hide the switch).
