Default Adjusting parking brake

95 Accord disc rear, fairly new pads on rear, I adjusted Parking brakes to specs. They hold on a incline in drive however if you give it gas the car will move. It appears parking brake only holds car if stopped . Does this seem correct?

Most parking brakes are not capable of stalling the engine. If you've ever tried to stop car w/ e-brake alone, you can appreciate weakness of braking action.

That's why they call it a "parking brake".

good luck
