Alignment require after axle change?

I have a 1995 Accord and had the right axle changed. This is my first axle change. Does it require a wheel alignment?

Assuming the job was done right you don't have to do an alignment following an axle swap. The only exception would be if lots of extra parts were removed, but you would have to go way out of your way to remove something that would affect alignment.

Would you actually check that out with your front end tech at the dealership you work st...I have that feeling that it would need an alignment..In changeing my own CV's I had the car re-aligned..Please check that out for us..

Thank You !

Shouldn't need one, all parts affecting the alignment are staying the same.

If the balljoints were separated at their tapered pins, and nothing else removed, then OK. If the inboard pivots of either control arms were moved, then you probably need an alignment.
