Default Aluminum crush washer for oil change

I don't feel like driving all the way over to the Honda dealership just to get this part, as there is a NAPA and AutoZone about two blocks from the agency I work at. Do they sell something similart to what I need? Thanks.

Maybe... I've heard of people using a nylon washer and just reusing that....

Personally, I don't ever replace it and have never had any leaks.

Okay, well, I may give it a go without one, but I think I do remember having some leakage issues with my 2000 Civic EX when I didn't use one.

Yes Autozone carries the washers...but I agree with the above poster, I went years without ever changing the washer until recently when I needed to get a new drain plug bolt. I think I'll look at the washer every oil change and then judge if I need to replace it. I bought a pack of the metal ones so I have them on hand.

Well, don't put the drain plug back in without the washer on, I just keep reusing the same one.

Hmm, I called AUTOZONE a little while ago and they told me to call NAPA. I think I need to be more specific with them. Do you happen to have a SKU number? Product name? Anything?

Yeah, me too. I got a handful of them at the dealer awhile ago, so I replace them occasionally. Probably re-use the washers 5 or 6 times.

Yes-

All of the auto parts stores should have them. They are usually with the oil filer wrenches and in packs of 4 or 6. I got a pack of copper ones.

You will need an 11 mm washer.
