hey i'm a little new to amp installation and im trying to run a power cable from my sub box in my trunk, the to battery. One problem i need to get through my firewall and all of the grommets are full and i cant get my hand in far enough to pop a hole. any suggestions on either moving the fuse box of how to get through the firewall? i already searched the web. i need some help here.

I'm not 100% sure of the easiest way on a 98 but I'd just start looking for a rubber grommet in the firewall that looks like there is some space around it, then look inside the car and see if the area inside the car is fairly clear, if it is then just pop out the grommet and punch a hole threw it, push the wire through, then take a phillips screwdriver and push it through the foam you'll see that seperates the car from the engine bay, now you've got a hole to feed the wire through, push a whole bunch of wire through it, eventually it will kind of ball up and sometimes that makes it easier to find inside....

WARNING please invest in a capasitor to put between your amp and battery... you can findfor about 50 bucks and it's aNEED for any type of amp.... cuz the constant sucking off straight battery will kill your alternator.... i know my car hasn't moved in 16freakin months cuz i dot fallow my own advice...
