Default Another blinking D4 light question.

Hey guys. Got a 94 accord lx 2.2 auto.. Pulled the codes, and its 1 long, 1 long , and 3 quick on blinks, is that a 23 or space 13 ? CEL is not on. I know the coolant temp sensor on the back of the head is bad as I damaged it while installing the head. For the 13 code I found BARO sensor bad in the haynes manual and on here the 23 was for a knock sensor. Any ideas?

Blinking D4 only goes to code 15 (so it cannot give a 23) if I understand the manual correctly.

If it is a code 13 (which is a D4 code) it is for bad BARO sensor which requires a new PCM to fix.

Does the 94 have the OBD II connector behind the ashtray (I am thinking it does not)?

If it does have the codes pulled at an autoparts store.

How does the car run?

Perhaps you are getting codes 10 and 13

10 is disconnected or faulty ECT sensor which is the one you broke so that would make a lot of sense

I broke my ECT sensor installing my transmission and got one from the local Pick-n-Pull for $3.00

Not sure on the OBDII. I will check. The thought of the codes being 10, and 13 never crossed my mind.I think I will change that sensor before I do anything else. Thanks

Only 96+ accords are OBD2. The 95 V6 was also OBD2.
