Appropriate fuel?

Default Appropriate fuel?

Hi,

My manual sttes I shuld use premium n my '03 EX V6.Not being car savy,hat's the big deal if I use regular?I definitely want t do the smart thing.Just bought it.

If the manual says use premium, you need to use premium. Are you sure it says to use premium though? I didn't think any stock Honda's used premium gas. I thought premium was for Acuras.

The '03 V-6 specifies 87 octane. I think you need to re-read that manual. Is there a sticker at the gas fill stating premium fuel only? I think not if it is a US car.

^ that is exactly what I thought. Re-read the manual. Or, post an exact quote from the manual here in this thread regarding what type of fuel it tells you to use.

Oops! Appologies.It states use Preuim grade engine OIL!! I misread it and thought it was the fuel wich is in fact 87 octane.Thanks!

you cau use 87 octane ,no problem ,,, or higher if so you choose
