Im not much onthe guitar front, I know a good bit about them but I'll leave it to the AXE shredders. I'll stick with my DW custom 5-piece and barrage of zildjian and sabian.

Your sweetheart is partial to Strat's huh... here's my 60th Anni Strat. Nothing like a Strat for replicating Jimi...Hendrix!! Not to mention Stevie Ray!

My 2 Artist's with my Carvin DC135. Solid mahogany neck through. Swapped the pup's for Cool Rails,Hot Rails and Pearly Gates. (have your wife explain all that to ya!). It's also autographed by Peter Tork of the Monkees. Yeah....I'm that old! It's for sale, along with the Artist on the left. Oh,and that's a '67ish Fender Showman head.

Do you know any transmission guru's?? I want to mod my tranny into a manual-reverse valve body shift on demand so that I can keep those shift points under 2 g's. ya like the way I kept this post on topic!!

Since this thread has moved away from transmissions for the moment, I just want to add that the Grand National is wicked friggin' awesome.

Haven't had any codes so far and the only flashing dash light is the seat belt warning because the shoulder belt coupler won't retract!! (hint?
Well Honda covers the seatbelt system "for the useful life of the car"
Best if the seat belt/shoulder harness is stuck forward when you show up at the dealership. totally unsafe LOL.
If they give you any lip/ charges for repair just call the American Honda customer care hotline.
I saw a service manager fired from Fletcher Honda for trying to charge for seatbelt system repairs.

catbert, thanks! The scary thing is that they're evenquicker now then when they were rated the fastest production car made, back in'87.

This is an '84 T-Type I had. Fuel injection/turbo but no intercooler. (Minus the aluminum turbine wheels). And the '72 Electra Ltd. (rarer than the 225) That car is fun to drive, especially after I put a cam in it! it's hilarious watching guys try to pass me on the highway! "Whatsamadda punk,ya got a trunk load of bricks"? AHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA! It would make a bit more power had I not retarded the timing so as to run on 87 octane!

A '87 Turbo-T. One of about 1500. Sold to a buddy of mine. Essentially it's a wolf in sheep's clothing with a Grand National drivetrain and the Ma Pa trim. Always look for the bubble on the hood!

A very rare Buick. 1982 Grand National. One of 215. Non-Turbo,4.0 V6 4bbl. I'll never stop kicking myself for selling it. Last I heard it was part of a collection in Florida. Damn.
I love my Buicks. (that's the Turbo-T on the left)

Thanks for the tip Hondadude.I especially like the "NO LIP" clause! Now I can take that piece of duct tape off the lense.

Yeah the '66-'67 Goats were my favorite body style. I don't think that 389 w/Trips would get anywhere near the GN,or the "71 GS Stage 1 455 that I had. The Goat would have to run low 12's to take the GS and 11's to stay with the GN.
My "first car" was a '63 Chevy Impala SS 327 4spd.

I was a tad slimmer back then!
The only Honda's you saw were these monsters that terrorized the neighborhood. HA!

This would be a '49 Panhead in 1981,long before white Harleys were cool.

Hey I like those Honda scooters, top speed is only 35 if you're lucky but they are fun to ride even if my friends do catch me on it LOL. one of my aunts neighbors (female) has an old shuvelhead bike, i like to give her hell everytime I see her asking how the panhead is, then she gets all redfaced and syas "ITS A FUC#$ing SHUVELHEAD MORON!"

you should redo the engine on your honda, see how much you can get out of it then put it up against the Buick in a drag race.
