BAD KNOCKING!!??

alright my 92 ex is knocking BAD from the piston....if your looking at the front end, it sounds like its coming from one of the right 2 cylinders.....the oil level is right on the bottom hole on the dipstick...please let me know whats going on! and i allready know its not good....

i also did take out the plugs and the gaps are good still but the right two are dry as hell and a tannish color

Do you mean an ignition knock (pinging loudly under acceleration), orloud mechanical knocking under load?

A rod knock (loose rod bearings) usually is clunking, clanking sound that is really jarring and distinct. Most people immediatley sense it is a deep engine fault. If that's what you have, it's better to repair the engine or replace soon. It won't get better.

sounds like a engine repair, or save up for a h22a

thats what i figured....what a good price for a h22....and what should i look for if i go to get one?
