Default Battery drain issue

So I’ve been having a battery drain issue. I replaced the battery and alternator. I have a 2000 Honda Accord ex v6 2 door coupe. I’ve been pulling fuses and checking the amps. Led to me pulling the “ BACK UP, ACC” fuse and the amps dropped. So I assume this is my drain issue. What step do I take to fix this? What do I gotta check?

Which fuse box was the back up, acc fuse located. What amp fuse? What fuse number is it according to the diagram on the fuse box?

again 2000 Honda Accord ex v6 2 door coupe. The fuse box was in the engine bay too left, if you look from the front. So passages side and close to the windshield. The fuse is a 40A. And the diagram doesn’t have any numbering for the fuses. But here is an image of the diagram from the fuse box.

That 40 amp fuse feeds fuses 12-17 in the fuse box under the driver's dash. Fuses 12-17 are the first 6 fuses in the middle row, where fuse 12 should be empty.

You should repeat your test with the amp setting, the pull these fuses to figure out what is causing the draw. You will want to put a clamp on the door switch, so the courtesy lights don't draw amps.

followed as you said, clamping the switch for the door shut. Light on the door is off but fuse 11 for interior lights and courtesy light is the one giving me feedback, everything else doesn’t run the circuit. So what all is connected to fuse 11?

I messed up earlier and gave the 03-07 fuse numbers. The 98-02 accord fuses protected by the 40A backup fuse are fuses 9-13 in the passenger under dash fuse box.

Did you pull fuse 11 in the passenger fuse box?

yes. The 11 fuse on the passenger side fuse box was pulled. When I test to see voltage through the 40amp fuse, I get about 12.5-12.7. I camped the door sensor closed so it’s not supplying current. When I test the fuse 11 I get 12.5-12.7. I’ve disconnected the lights by the mirror, the dome light, the door sensors are clamped closed and the courtesy lights aren’t coming on. Is there something I’m missing?

What is the amp draw when everything is plugged in? What is the amp draw when you unplug fuse 11? I'll look up the items on fuse 11 and post shortly.

Passenger side fuse 11 feeds all the door courtesy lights, the spot/fog lights, trunk light, homelink (garage door opener), dome lights. I'll keep looking, as the 98-02 shop manual doesn't have a tree diagram for items downstream of the fuse.

Found a separate issue retaining to my drain. I’m not pulling amps I’m pulling voltage. And it was my radio pulling it along side the fuse 11. I have a short somewhere between the battery, under the hood fuse box, passenger side fuse box, and my radio deck. I fried my radio deck, pulled the deck out and left out. Tested the wires and pull 12.5 volts. When I test the courtesy lights it pulls 12.5 as well. But the only lights I still have connected is the door lights. Everything else is pulled out and doesn’t pull any volts.
