Angry Battery drainage

Hi, I have a honda accord 1991 ex. Somehow the battery keeps dying within 2-4 weeks. I've been switching over 4 batteries and the alternator is also new. When I'm driving, i experience no problem at all, however over a 2-4 week period the battery of my car will totally be out. It does so while I'm not driving the car. Can anyone give me some advice?

Welcome new member!

Maybe your alternator wiring harness is flaky?
Measure battery voltage with car turned off.
Measure battery votage with engine idling.
Measure again idling, with EVERYTHING (lights, blowers, etc.) turned on.
Tell us the measurements...

Default Similar problem

I'm also having a similar problem. The slightest extra current draw drains my battery quickly. I ran a small Hoover from the lighter socket while the CD player was on. When I went to turn over the engine it would not even turn the starter motor.

Left it for a few minutes and somehow it started even though it was not even able to light the instrument lights.

This is becoming a tech question, so I'll move the thread to General Tech.

I'm also having trouble with my speedometer. Somehow it is not working. I'll be driving and it will just read 0. Sometimes, when I increase speed it will eventually go up, but seems like it's having problem being steady. Some of my friends say it might be the speed sensor, but i'm not sure and i dont really know where the speedometer is located.
