Default Battery Relocation on an 87 Accord

Will moving my battery to the back of my car help with the weight distribution enough to see a noticeable change in handling?

I was told it would help with regaining traction and braking. Just want to know if you think it would actually be worth the hassle.

Honestly moving maybe 25-35 pounds of weight on a 2800+ pound car is probably not worth the hassle, there are other things you can do to get better handling and traction like replacing worn suspension components or upgrading your suspension, other ideas would be after market parts like strut tower braces or wider wheels and tires. As far as weight distribution goes a perfect 50/50 weight distribution could improve handling but a well maintained and planned out suspension set up is really the best option. Things like worn out tie rod ends and ball joints and old dry rotted bushings are extremely detrimental to your cars handling. Sorry for the long winded response..

Agree with the suspension....I'd add struts and maybe springs to the check list. My 3rd gens - I keep up with them - handle pretty good
