Default Belt Condition

Hey Guys,

I attached a pic of my belt.
Should I hurry up and get it changed asap or it will be ok for a couple of months?
Sorry for the amateur question.

Thanks a lot!

Replace it now, rather than wait for it to let go. It's getting ready to become a 3 piece belt.

Who knows but I definitely wouldn't wait a couple months. 2 weeks at most I would wait or just long enough to order it cheaper online and for it to come in.

Thanks guys.

I am also wondering what has caused those two wear lines on the belt. Maybe I need to replace a pulley/tensioner?

Is your pulley making a noise if not then no need to replace it. How long has the belt been on there. Looks like a while definitely passed it's wear mileage. Yes it is caused by the pulley doing what it is suppose to do. Belts wear out and yours has seen better days.

I bought this car used about two and half years ago and I haven't changed the belt yet so it is definitely the time to do it. The pulley is not making any noise.
