Use the NGK plugs that are specificed for your car. There should be a sticker under the hood that tells you the NGK part number. I believe the 95-97 V6 accords used copper electrodes, so the NGK ZFR5F-11 (please verify on your sticker under the hood or the owner's manual). These plugs get changed every 30K miles as they wear faster than platinum/irridium.

As long as changing the plugs is not a pain on the V6, I'd stick with the OEM plugs that are cheaper and have more frequent changes.

I was thinking about this. arent I better off using a platinum or a double platinum plug that lasts much longer if I am paying the labor to do it.

If you are paying a shop to do the work, then use NGK PZFR5F-11. These are the platinum plugs starting with the 2000 accord and replaced the copper (or nickel) ZFR5F-11.

They can be changed every 105K miles.

so starting with 2000 accord they will work perfect on my 1995 2.7L? they are $35 on Rock Auto and $58 on Amazon and $70 on the NGK website. Cant beat Rock Auto pricing.

So the 98-99 use the ZFR5F-11 (same as your 95 engine), and the 00-02 accord use the PZFR5F-11. These are the same engines, so the PZFR5F-11 just has a longer lifetime to change them. You should have no issues.
