Default both front wheels spin in Park

This seems like a silly question but in the 17yrs I've owned my Accord I guess I've never had both front wheels off the ground at the same time and spun one by hand. Are the front wheels supposed to spin when it is in park (and both wheels of the ground)? I had it up on the jack last night and happened to move the wheel and it spun, I knew it was in Park so I freaked out a little bit but have not had any trans problems so wasn't sure if this was normal.

Is it? Thanks.

If both front wheels are off the ground, here's how it's SUPPOSED to work...

If you spin one wheel, the opposite wheel will spin the opposite direction. That's the differential working properly.

If you get a helper to grab the opposite wheel and prevent it from turning, then you won't be able to turn your wheel.

The 2 of you can turn your wheels back & forth in opposite directions. Yours forwards and his backwards or vice-versa.

If you had the transmission in NEUTRAL, then you could turn each wheel separately or together, any direction.
