Brake Pedal Leaking Down

When I am stopped at a light, the brake pedal leaks down to the point where it is at the floor, and I need to remove my foot and depress the pedal again to get my brakes back. This gets worse when its hot out. Do you think this is my master cylinder leaking down, or could this have something to do with the anti-lock brake pump/system?
Welcome to the forum! This seems to be a common issue right now.... First off make sure your brake fluid is full and that you aren't leaking any... if you're leaking the fix is obvious but if not then I'd guess your master cylinder... if your abs fails your brakes just start acting like non abs brakes plus a light should go on... I'll bet it's a seal on your master cylinder... Inspect for leaks then get the master cylinder tested. Keep one thing in mind though, just because they say the master cylinder is bad doesn't mean replace the whole thing... you can often times just buy a few gaskets/o-rings for it and replace those (especially the one that goes on the end that goes into the firewall)
I missed the part about it has abs, not usually part of the problem for leak down, but if it is, it is very expensive to replace and should be done at the dealer or by a qualified shop that knows honda's

Thanks all for the fast replies. I am not leaking any brake fluid anwhere that I can see (and the level in resevoir is OK). My initial thought was an internal leak (bypass) within the master cylinder. I am, however, not familiar with failure modes in ABS systems - so I was not sure if a problem could also exist there. It sounds like my initial thought is correct.
if you dont see a leak from the abs controller, then you shouldnt worry about it right now. thats going to be the most expensive thing to replace, and when that goes out. the brake like will usually light up
