Default Brakes feel like they are vibrating

When I press down on my brakes it feels like they are grinding against something. Does anyone know what the cause of this might be and how to fix it? Thanks

Look at the disc in the front and see if the surface is nice and smooth or if it has ridges you can feel in it. Also look at your brake pads, see if the groove in them is still visible or if the surface is flat all the way across. The groove is the wear indicator, when it is gone, its time to change pads.

Not sure if your car has drum or disc in the rear. If it is drum, then you may need to pull the drum off to look at the pads and see how much is left and how they are wearing.

Don't look at just one side of the front or rear and assume the other side is good. It can happen one sides pad gets jammed or sticks and wears against the disc even when your not on the brakes.

They are not related. Both need attention, confirm the brakes first as they are the most important.

Soooo I was thinking it might be my rotors, do you think that's possible?

i'm going to try and take it to Just Brakes because they said they would do a free inspection.

It may need new rotors but a grinding sound most likely is worn brakes or a chunk of the pad busted off and it wore prematurely. Unfortunately if your brakes are that worn you will need new rotors.
