Default Buy Now or Wait?

I am looking to buy '13 Accord Sport. However, after reading the posts regarding transmission "jerking",front end problems, buzzing, etc., I wonder if it is worth waiting before purchasing. I am in NO RUSH to purchase, as I am retired, and my current ride will be OK for another year or so.

My question is will Honda incorporate the needed corrections into current production, or wait until the '14 model year to resolve these issues.? Do the TSB inclusive dates mean that after the serial number listed as affected by the TSB the next cars have the issue resolved?

Dealer just called...I asked him if the back seat folded down on the '13 Accord Sport. He said "of course it does", but I don't think so, I cannot find anything in the literature that states that. Who is correct?

IMO, if you search the internet for complaints, on any car, you will find some. I bought an 03 V6 automatic, which was the first year for generation 7. There are people who will tell you this car's transmission is destined to fail, and they would run away from it on the used market. Well, the odds may have been against it, but I've probably had less problems than many 07 Accords (last year of gen 7), in any configuration. My advise is to test drive quite a few of them, paying close attention to problems you've heard about, and pick the best one, and not necessarily the prettiest one. If the car has problems, they may not be fixed, by the next model year. Or they may not be able to fix them at all. A lot of it is luck of the draw, and lemons come in all brands.

I saw a review of the new Accord online, and it has the fold down rear seat, just like Accords usually do. The seat is not split 60/40 though, the entire seat back goes down. It's all or nothing. It may also have the small door behind the rear seat armrest, that I've used to bring moldings home from Home Depot without having to fold the entire seat.

The rear seat can fold down like EXV6NIGHTHAWK stated.

Not everyone has issues with their 2013 Accord. One of my friends has reported zero problems after several months of ownership. I provided him all the latest TSBs and other info. and he stated no issues.
