A/C Issue
What is or could be the issue for the A/C to blow hot air? I have been working on this thing for a while now and just out of the blue my fans started working (only whlie car is runnning) and they turn on when I turn the A/C on now. This is a big step from where I was at but the only thing is that the A/C is blowing hot air. Why is this? Can anyone help?

Sorry, Its a 94 honda Accord EX. There is no freon in the system completely dry. Fuses are fine, wiring is fine and Im not sure so Ill ask does it take freon or R134a? If I was to use R134a what would happen?

If system is empty, you may need to partially charge w/ R134a to look for the leak. However, it's worth looking closely at parts to perhaps visually detect the leak. Examine condensor and all connections for evidence of oil/dirt accumulation. Oil/dirt accumulation indicates the leak site. Also look at compressor clutch plate for a ring of oil/dirt around the plane of rotation of the compressor clutch. This is oil slung out from the spinning clutch and dirt sticks to the oil. This would indicate a leaking rotating seal in compressor.
Leak must be repaired, new receiver/drier since system is open to atmosphere, 3-4 oz of replacement PAG oil (DEC PAG is best) in new receiver/drier, vacuum, and recharge w/ 23 oz of R134a.

Yeah, I had hit a deer and one of the lines got kink and had a hole. I replaced the line with another. The fans gave me an issue for a while and i rane all the wires, relays, fuses, everything and the onlything that was an issue was a wire that went to the control module (YEL/WHT) had no voltage. Im not sure what the issue is but the fans seem to be running just fine now. However the A/C is only blowing hot air.

if system is empty you will only get hot air out of the vents.........
once you replaced the line, you need to add freon ( your car r134a) i call it all freon,, up to 1993 it took r12 ..unless you have freon you will not get any cold air from vents,,
you need to put system under a vacuum for a period of a time, 20-30 minutes will do. than close the gauges and wait a bit to make sure that system hold a vacuum,( a few minutes , )if it does, than you can add freon r134a about 16 to 20 ounces ,, also add some dye in the system , it will help you locate a leak should there be 1 ,, small leaks might take a while to show ,, and you would need a black lite to properly see the dye ,,( if there is a leak )
