All of a sudden today, the alarm stared making a really weird noise. I was unable to reset it. I could not start the car. The horn would try to beep as if the car was being broken into. I took off the battery cables and left them off for hours thinking perhaps that would reset it. It didn't do the trick. Could anyone please tell me what the heck is going on? i know my alarm does disable the ignition, i have a compustar alarm system. i think the trick with compustar is to turn the ignition to the second position 5 times in a row. but idk what it is with other systems.
