Hey whats up? I was just looking for some answers on the web and found this site. I just bought a 91 Honda Accord LX with 130,000 miles on it. It is in great shape and I really like the way it drives. But just yesterday it started having an engine problem. Is it okay to ask if anyone has some answers avail? Anyway, it will drive fine for awhile, then all of the sudden it will start to shake and shudder and lose a quite a bit of power. When this happens I turn the engine off and restart it right away, and then it will run like brand new for awhile. Here is the wierd part. Sometimes my check engine light will come on when the car is running fine. But it is never on when I have the real engine problem. I dont know if anyone else has experienced this with a 89-94 Accord. ANY feedback on this problem is GREATLY appreciated.

 

you need to read the code and let us know..... how are your plugs and wires ? cap, rotor? there might be a secondary miss happening ,, chk those parts and let us know ..
