Default Car maintenance?

Hey all, i dont know much about cars at all. I own a 98 accord coupe and the thing i usually do is oil changes every 2 months.

my car is used i just bought it 6 months ago, its got 100,000 miles and there seems to be something missing in the engine bay. If u open the hood, the bottom right side is empty it seems like someone took something out of there but i dont know what it is.

anyway can someone give me some pointers on what to do to keep my coupe running excellent for the next 5 years

under the general tech section there is a great how to document on general maintence.... As far as the missing item I'm assuming you're standing in front of the car facing it and the right hand side (drivers side) is missing something? If that's the case does your windsheild washer fluid spray? If it's the other side then do you have an aftermarket intake?

is it a 4 or 6 cylinders??

Also if you look in the owners manual, there is a maintenance schedule for car owners to follow,,

priority # 1 ,,, Timing belt if it has not been done yet, include the Water pump, seals and outer belts,
