Default Car lacks acceleration after maintenance

97 accord coupe LX auto 90k miles. My car doesn's seem to accelerate as fast as before I had some maintenance done to the car. Had the timing belt, water pump, seals, spark plugs, wires, and cap rotor replaced. Also engine and tranny oil change and replaced the air filter. My rpm is a little higher when I first start the car in the morning than before. 1750rpm instead of 1500rpm from before. The tranny shifts more smoothly than before but the car doesn't accelerate as fast as before. Is it possible that one of the spark plug or wire isn't working so I'm down a cylinder? Would the change in idle affect my acceleration?

Is the cam timing correct? What brand of spark plugs?

Plugs are NGK. Work was done by a dad's friend who is a mechanic at the local honda dealer. He did they work there as a work order. How do I check the cam timing?
