ok i need help with my 1999 honda accord ex 2 door coupe it has the f23 a 1 engine with the auto tranny. the problem is that the car will not start at all. someone said that it might be the security system but they are not sure but wants to charge me 500 dollars to fix it i have changed the ignition on the car an that was not the problem that was 400 dollars i tryn to find the problem please if anyone has any clue what it might be help me out please. ohh yes when you turn the key on and try to turn over the car it will not work the only think that works is the hazards and headlight that is it. if you have any information that might help pls. let me know.

 

When you say "the car will not start at all", do you mean that the engine does nothing when you try to start? Does the starter turn the engine at all?

Can you hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn the key? You might have to get someone to stand outside the car and put their ear near the gas tank to hear it since it is a faint sound.

 

i have installed a new fuel pump and new battery and brand new igniotion system for the car and still no luck and when i turn the key to start the car nothing happens the no click no lights on he dash or anything nothing at all happens like i said the only thing that works is the headlights and the hazard lights that is it no door locks no lights in the dash nothing at all when you turn the key over to start the car nothing happens

 

the starter does no click or make any noise
