Car will not start.. Dead as a Turkey today
I have a 1991 Honda Accord LX 2dr. The car out of nowhere has decided not to start.
Ran fine. Started fine till just now.
Tried to run an errand and it not only will not start, when I turn the key to start it, I get nothing.
No sounds at all. No clicking or buzzing.. Nothing.
Turning the ignition key feels like it always does. And when I turn it to where the starter should.. Well start, the idiot lights go out till I let go of the key back to the run position.
My batter test as good and has over 13 volts.
When I first turn the key on I get all the idiot lights on. The check engine light goes out. The others stay on.
The car is getting electric power so its not the main fuse.
If I turn the headlights on they are bright.. So car is getting all the juice the starter could need.
I have tried to start it in both Park and Neutral. But get nothing.
So I'm stumped. I don't know if it's the starter, a relay or?....
Feel free to ask me to try this or that..
As always thank you for trying to help.

have you checked under the hood for proper connection to battery, cables tight not corroded, try to jump start ? tested battery ?
you might have enough power for head light to come on but it requires a lot more juice to start the car

Checked under the hood. All fuses good. All relays good. Jump the solenoid it clicked like it should. But starter did nothing. Jump straight to starter to verify that it was a bad starter. Starter did nothing. Ordered a new starter.
