Default Changing the ECU

I did a search for ECU inthe threads but I didn't find any posts. Looking for info on how to get the new ECU working. I heard once about having to get a code so you can get it started to get the new ECU programmed to the vehicle. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The 98-02 had a procedure to bypass the ECU using the brake pedal, where you would you could bypass the security for a one-time drive to get it to a shop. The 03-07 accord doesn't mention this type of situation in the shop manual.

Based on the shop manual, it looks like you need a Honda Scanner or some expensive scanners can do program. You can call a dealership to find out if there is an over-ride option, but I suspect the vehicle may need towed to the shop. You can also look into independent shops or a locksmith to see if they can program the keys and the other programming items. Maybe some mobile mechanics could do the programming?
