Changing headlights on 1993
1993 EX
I found a discussion about changing headlights on a 96, but from the description, I can see that the 93 and the 96 are different.
I removed the five grill screws and removed the grill.
This revealed a row of plastic clips along the top of the bumper cover from one headlight to the other. I haven't removed these yet because there obviously must be fasteners securing the bumper cover on the other side (outer side) of the headlights.
I'd be pleased if someone could tell me where the rest of the bumper cover fasteners are and, after the cover is removed, what follows. Presumably I need to remove the bumper, and maybe it's obvious by then what to do, but I don't know because the cover is still on.

I think that the bumper and fiberglass cover come off together. At least that is how the 94-97 accords are set up.
The site linked below is for a 91. It should be similar on how to remove the bumper + cover on your 93.

I discovered the following.
To change a headlight bulb, access the bulb through the engine compartment. Each bulb is secured by a black retaining ring having a wide outer tab that is rotated to the bottom of the circle when locked. To unlock the retaining ring, rotate it counter clockwise. But if the ring is too tight (there's not enough space for a normal man's hand to grip the ring tightly), use a flat-blade screwdriver to nudge the ring counter clockwise. Position the blade in a groove that lies slightly toward the center of the circle in the vicinity of the outer tab. If you can't see the grove because the bulb assembly obscures it, feel for it with the blade.
To change the headlight housing+lens, remove the bumper (with its cover) by following the instructions at the page of the link that PAhonda posted. However, I'd modify the instructions as follows.
Add step 0: straighten the front wheels. This is to facilitate step 3.
In step 4, delete the part about removing the mounting clips. These clips hold the bumper cover to the bumper, and the two come off the car as a unit.
Step 5 is irrelevant if you don't have a headlight washer.
